Hello and welcome to my blog. This is at least my third attempt at starting a blog so hopefully I can keep up this time. I will generally write about software development topics but may try a few other hobby posts here and there.

I’ve been a software developer for over 30 years. Recently, I’ve worked mostly on back-end code. My development tools of choice have typically been .NET and SQL Server but my latest work was in Python, PostgreSQL and Docker. My current project will involve some front-end code so I am really interested in learning Vue, React or maybe Svelte.

I also had the opportunity to work with a team that did a majority of their development in Docker containers. This has really opened my eyes to some new ways of doing things.

I should have plenty to learn and write about.
